Terms of service

Simple rules for using QuickCalAI

These terms explain what QuickCalAI provides, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

Effective date: September 14, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Rocktown Labs, the operator of QuickCalAI (“QuickCalAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, uploading a file, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use QuickCalAI.

2. The service

QuickCalAI extracts dates, times, locations, and event details from images and PDFs, creates calendar files in the .ics format, and lets eligible users download or request delivery of those files by email or SMS. The service may change as we improve it, add features, or respond to technical, legal, or security requirements.

QuickCalAI is a productivity tool, not a calendar provider, emergency communication service, or substitute for checking important dates yourself.

3. Accounts and account security

You need an account to use features that require authentication. Authentication and account management are provided through Clerk. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account or use another person’s account without permission.

4. Uploaded content and calendar files

You keep ownership of files, schedules, text, and other content that you submit (“Content”). You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, analyze, transform, and transmit your Content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and provide the features you request.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload and process your Content. You also remain responsible for reviewing extracted events before relying on them.

Generated .ics files and shared files are delivered through URLs. Anyone who obtains a file URL or share link may be able to access the corresponding file, so do not upload information that you are not comfortable sharing through a link.

5. Acceptable use

You may use QuickCalAI only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, deceptive, or invasive of another person’s privacy.
  • Use the service to distribute spam, unsolicited messages, malware, or fraudulent content.
  • Attempt to bypass plan limits, access another user’s data, or interfere with the service.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or build a competing service from QuickCalAI except as allowed by law.
  • Send an email or SMS to a recipient without the permissions and consent required by applicable law.

6. Premium plans and payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, plan limits, and included features are shown at checkout or on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew according to the billing interval you select until canceled. Billing is handled through our third-party billing provider; we do not store your full payment card number.

You can manage or cancel a subscription through the account settings or the billing portal made available to you. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the checkout terms or applicable law say otherwise. We may change pricing with reasonable notice and will not reduce a paid period you have already purchased.

7. Email and SMS delivery

When you explicitly request email or SMS delivery, you authorize QuickCalAI to send the selected calendar-file link to the address or phone number you provide. SMS messages may be sent through Sent and its underlying communications providers. Message and carrier fees may apply, and delivery is not guaranteed.

You must use a phone number you control or have permission to use. QuickCalAI file delivery is transactional and user-initiated; it is not an emergency service. If a delivery is not wanted, do not request it and contact us if you continue to receive an unexpected message.

8. Third-party services

QuickCalAI relies on third-party services for authentication, hosting, file storage, workflow execution, AI processing, analytics, error monitoring, email, SMS, and billing. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for a third party’s products, availability, or policies.

9. Intellectual property

QuickCalAI, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and original content, belongs to Rocktown Labs or its licensors. These Terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of QuickCalAI to you.

10. Accuracy, availability, and disclaimers

AI extraction can make mistakes. Dates, times, locations, and event details may be incomplete or incorrect, especially when a source file is blurry, handwritten, or ambiguous. Review every result before importing it into a calendar or relying on it.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUICKCALAI IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR THAT A PARTICULAR RESULT WILL BE ACCURATE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROCKTOWN LABS AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, OR OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR $100.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using QuickCalAI at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users or the service, fail to pay amounts owed, or if we must do so for legal or security reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms—will survive.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or QuickCalAI will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arkansas, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the effective date. Your continued use of QuickCalAI after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
